- Manavari Temple (Chilaw)
- First lingam installed & prayed by Lord Rama, called Ramalinga Shivan.
- Lord Shiva advised Lord Rama to install 4 lingams: Manavari, Thiru Koneshwaram, Thiru Ketheshwaram & Rameshwaram.
- Rameshwaram in India is the only other lingam named after Lord Rama.
- Muneshwaram Temple (Chilaw)
- Believed to predate the Ramayana.
