Start your tour exploring the Muscat Fish Market in Muttrah which is quite an experience. Proceed for a tour of the Grand Mosque (except Friday). The dress code for the Mosque-Ladies is to be fully covered and to carry a long head scarf and men in full-length trousers. The mosque is a wonder of modern architecture and is a fusion of Omani, Islamic, and Middle Eastern architectural styles. On the outskirts of Muscat, we drive to visit the House of Amouage (Not open on Fridays and Saturdays). Visit Royal Opera House Muscat (except Friday).

We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. 1100 Hrs.: Pick up from your hotel in Muscat and drive to Wadi Bani Khalid which comprises small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water pools. (It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes). Proceed towards the Wahiba Sands a vast area of undulating red and white sea of sand dunes and enjoy dune driving in the desert for a unique experience.

Enjoy a sunset over the dunes and don’t forget to capture the beautiful moments of the sunset before making your way back to the Hotel.(Dress code: Men and women should wear a t-shirt and shorts up to knee length when swimming in Wadis). Salalah, the “garden city” of the south, is a tropical paradise and the hub of Frankincense trade from time immemorial. Begin the day visiting Salalah Grand Mosque (except Friday) standing tall in the center of the city with its exquisite artwork and stained tiles. Stop at the Al Husn Palace - first among three palaces of the Sultan of Oman, listen from your guide about Sultan Qaboos, the visionary ruler of Oman revered as a fatherly figure across the Sultanate. Adjacent to the Palace, we visit the Al Husn Souq where frankincense crystals of Dhofar and typical Dhofari frankincense burners are sold, filling the air with aroma of incense and perfumes.

We drive to a tropical garden farm where fruits, vegetable and leafy greens are grown and displayed for sale. Enjoy a refreshing tender coconut drink here and walk through the fertile land nourished by fresh water distributed through a network of canals. We end the tour visiting the Al Balid Museum and the Archaeological site where the remnants of the ancient Al Baleed town are excavated and preserved. (FRI & SAT FROM 1530 HRS).
